What does the future hold?
Its a question no one can answer, and yet now more than ever there is a divide appearing between conventional firms and online businesses.
While the global economy has been in free fall, online businesses are holding their own. In fact many are still showing growth while the recession bites elsewhere. You will notice, on this site, we show the bad news in red, and the good news in green.
Newspapers don’t like giving good news. It doesn’t sell. But there is plenty of good news out there. Not every business is suffering right now, there are plenty showing positive trends. Most of them are on the Internet.
Fact is, online business is working. It just took longer to come round than punters in the dotcom crash thought. And now that its working so well, it provides a broad avenue of hope for people and firms ready to embrace it.
So let’s rephrase the question:
